Overview

The Oxford – HKU Senior Executive Programme in Corporate Leadership is designed and delivered by the two participating universities.  The programme draws on cutting-edge theory and practice of the art of corporate leadership of experts worldwide.  New business models and channels, globalisation, technology advancement, and higher stakeholder expectations make sustainable success in competitive markets more and more elusive.  How can strategic leaders think more effectively and critically to create winning organisations in such environments?  The programme will help senior leaders enhance their strategic capabilities to address organisational challenges.  Teaching focuses on the practical by relating to everyday organisation operations.  Best practices to help organisations achieve sustainable competitive advantage in the global market will also be discussed.  Some themes and case studies are of particular relevance to Asian organisations, such as strategic innovation, creativity and business innovation, the impact of globalisation on China, change management, and how to integrate human resources management with strategic objectives.

An intensive five-day workshop using interactive lectures, case analysis, discussion and group work. The programme combines the best of East and West in management education with an international magnitude, constantly relating concepts and frameworks to organisational challenges and dilemmas.
