Master of Business Administration (International)

Programme Overview

The Master of Business Administration (International) is a Part-Time Programme jointly offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics of The University of Hong Kong and the School of Management of Fudan University in Shanghai. The Programme is intended for executives with a proven track record as they progress in their business career.

The objectives of the Programme are to provide advanced management education which has a multi-disciplinary approach and an international perspective with emphasis on the Asian region, to provide the opportunity for candidates to specialise in a number of fields in management and to develop essential managerial skills in dynamic international business settings. At the end of the Programme, candidates are expected to be able to take a strategic overview of management and to analyse the complex and inter-related demands on management from the perspectives of the various stakeholders of the business enterprise within the context both of local needs and the global economy.

The Programme was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council in 1998 (document number [1998]67, [2000]40, [2001]49, [2003]58) and has been ranked twice as the best programme of its kind. It is open to graduates who have obtained an undergraduate degree and have attained a satisfactory level of performance in GMAT, GRK or equivalent. They should also have successful business experience of at least three years.
