Business Communication
The Faculty of Business and Economics’ (FBE) Business Communication Team was formed in the Spring of 2008 with a very specific objective: to create value added, state of the art innovative business communication courses and programs within the FBE at HKU. The Business Communication Team has been actively involved in the research, conceptualization, creation, writing and teaching of new courses and programs; the creation of specialized workshops, the provision of professional editorial support, the facilitating of current affairs discussion groups; and the planning of specially related business leaders forums, and business communication case competitions. A key feature of new course and program development is newly designed multi-media content with state of the art website design, database integration, and content interactivity.
In the cases of these newly developed courses and programs, expertise drawn from extensive business communication teaching and research in both HK and international tertiary level institutions, cutting edge web design and communication technologies (including dynamic video and context specific vocabulary learning) have all been integrated and employed so that the FBE is fully capable and ready to offer students, state of the art Business Communication programs.
Our Team:
The Business Communication Team is a small group of highly talented professionals. With degrees from premier institutions in Canada, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, the team is knowledgeable and skilled in English Language Teaching, Business Studies, Psychology, Education and Website Design. As Business Communication Specialists, the team possesses a wide range of skills, knowledge and expertise across a number of academic discipline areas.
