About the Speaker: Mr. Vladimír Dlouhý
Mr. Dlouhý was appointed as President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce in May 2014. The Czech Chamber of Commerce was set up as an independent national chamber with voluntary membership. It is the largest and most representative business association in the Czech Republic, providing a platform for over 14 000 members that represent 60% of national GDP and 66% of employable population in the country.
During 1992-1997, Mr. Dlouhý was an economic expert to the Czech government’s National Economic Council, and served as Minister of Industry and Trade.
