2020-21 Budget Commentary

 

 

The HKSAR Government has recently announced the 2020-21 Budget, amidst the backdrop of global economic downturn, coronavirus outbreak and local social unrest, and introduced a series of initiatives in four major aspects, i.e. ‘Support enterprises, safeguard jobs, stimulate the economy and smoothen livelihoods’.

With a deep root in Hong Kong and strong engagement with China, the Faculty is committed to contributing to the social well-being and creating positive impact in the community. Our faculty members, with different research expertise, share their views on this Budget, with an aim of providing insights for policy makers, academic counterparts and the general public.
