
BGS HKU Chapter – Formal Dinning Etiquette
When it comes to western dinning etiquette, do you know which topics should be avoided at the dinner? Can you put your elbows on the table? Do you know the protocol of table setting? Knowing the essential table manners, tips and taboos can help you attend your next business luncheon or dinner with confidence and ease.
The Beta Gamma Sigma HKU Chapter has organised a formal dining etiquette class with details as follows:–
Date: April 18, 2015 (Saturday)
Time: 12:00p.m. – 2:00p.m.
Venue: La Parole, 3/F, Pemberton, Sheung Wan
This class is offered exclusively to members of the BGS HKU Chapter. You will learn the techniques and knack of place settings, eating styles for various food, rules of toasting and more through a three course meal. The class costs $600 per person, including a three course meal. The Faculty will subsidise undergraduate students.

Undergraduate student members: HK$100
Postgraduate student members: HK$600
Alumni members: $600
All participants have to pay for their own travel expenses. Seats are very limited and are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
