Brief Description of Taikang Life Insurance Co., Ltd.:
Taikang is a leading insurance and financial service group in China, with three business pillars—insurance, asset management and healthcare service. It has deepened its exploration in the life insurance industry, integrated life industrial chain, and developed the innovative service for customers “from cradle to heaven” , which focuses on healthcare and asset management through the combination of financial product and practical services.
Since its foundation on Aug. 22nd, 1996, with 19 years of innovative development, Taikang has established an influential brand and has taken the lead of insurance and asset management business. It has also led the planning and implementation in healthcare management, elderly care and retirement community. At Taikang, we have always believed in market-oriented management and normalized operation, to realize effective return to shareholders with all departments’ specialized operation and coordination.
By the end of 2014, Taikang’s total asset has reached 530 billion yuan, AUM exceeded 700 billion yuan. There are 35 Taikang life insurance branches, more than 4,200 agencies all over China. Taikang has also established five subsidiaries—Taikang AMC Co. Ltd., Taikang Pension and Insurance Co. Ltd., Taikang Community Investment Co. Ltd., TK.CN Insurance Co. Ltd., and Taikang Healthcare Management Co. Ltd.
