HKU MEcon & MFin Alumni Dinner 2017 @ Beijing
You are cordially invited to the alumni dinner for Master of Economics and Master of Finance in Beijing on August 5, 2017 (Saturday). We are honored to have Mr. Norman Sze, Northern Region Managing Partner of Deloitte China, to give a speech "Implication of Belt and Road". The alumni dinner is organized by MEcon & MFin Programme office of HKU Faculty of Business and Economics. Details of which are as follows:
About the Speaker:
Norman Sze is Northern Region Managing Partner of Deloitte China, and leads the firm's client services and business operations in the region. He is also the National leader of Deloitte China Government Affairs Unit, responsible for connection with government in Greater China. Norman joined Deloitte in 2004 as the Managing Partner of Deloitte Consulting China.
Norman has nearly 30 years of professional experience providing management consulting and financial management advisory services, and his clients enjoy a leadership position in their respective industries in China. He has been appointed as consultant and advisor by many government agencies, and as a senior lecturer by the State Committee of Enterprise & Industry, State-owned Assets Supervision and Adminstration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), the State Committee of Finance Industry and Shanghai SASAC to share his profesional experience on the reform and development strategies of Chinese enterprises, as well as "Belt & Road" Strategy. He is visiting professor of Chinese Academy of Governance.
Norman is also a pioneer of China's management consulting industry. His prior roles before joining Deloitte, included the Greater China Financial Services Industry Practice Leader of an international consulting company, the China practice leader of another leading global professional firm, as well as General Manager of a Sino-foreign joint venture restrutured from a state-owned enterprise. He has previously been named as one of the Leading Financial Services Consultants in China by Euromoney.
Norman is a Fellow member of both ACCA and CPA Australia and a member of HKIPA.
