Located in the heart of Asia, Hong Kong is indeed a city of life. A vibrant meeting of East and West, it is truly Asia's world city.

You will benefit from studying at the only university located on Hong Kong Island, where most of the financial and banking corporations are sited. It's very convenient for internships and company visits during your study and you will gain a first-hand experience of the rapid pace of a financial hub.

After hours of lectures, projects or field trips, students indulge in social activities to relax and make everlasting friendships. HKU main campus, located on the hills on the west side of Hong Kong Island, is just minutes from downtown Hong Kong.

Hong Kong presents an ever-changing kaleidoscope of colour, flavours and culture. It is a pulsating modern city, juxtaposed with intriguing village traditions. The city has one of the world's most dramatic harbours, fascinating shopping malls, dazzling high rise buildings and a surprising amount of green space. Country parks cover 40% of the region and along with the outlying islands, they provide plenty of walks, trails and beaches for those who wish to experience the greener, calmer side of Hong Kong.

As the centre for finance and business in Asia, students mingle with people from all over the world, with restaurants and meals to match every taste. The public transportation system in Hong Kong is very well developed, with a high-tech subway system, well-connected public bus service, efficient taxis and historic trams.

Whether you are looking for lively nightlife, traditional festivals or world famous international shows and concerts, Hong Kong has it all. Hong Kong is truly a fascinating place to be.
