Alumni Get-Together – Strawberry Picking
We cordially invite you to join us to an organic farm tour featuring a unique variety of strawberry – the “milk strawberry” – which is planted for the very first time ever in Hong Kong. Watered by fresh milk and/or formula milk twice a week, the “milk strawberry” is sweeter and bigger. Alumni can buy strawberries and organic vegetables they pick themselves.
The farm owner will also teach you to make additive-free strawberry jam that cannot be bought anywhere else in the market. Each alumnus will get a jar of yummy strawberry jam with no additional cost.
Time: 2:00pm Meet up at Kowloon Tong and take coach to the venue
3:00pm 60-min guided tour in the organic farm
4:15pm Strawberry Picking
5:15pm D.I.Y. Strawberry Jam
6:30pm Coach back to Kowloon Tong
Fee: FBE alumni: HK$180
Friends of FBE alumni:
Adult HK$220
Children (8 years old or below) HK$180
Organic Strawberries: HK$60 – 120 per pound (Paid onsite)

Remarks:
· This tour is conducted in Cantonese.
· We welcome family or group registration.
· All fees are non-refundable. Fees include shuttle coach, insurance, entrance fee of the farm and a complimentary jar of strawberry jam. Strawberry picking and purchasing of other organic fruits and vegetables will be at alumni’s own cost. The farm receives cash only.
· Seat will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
